Swissvax Paint Rubber Clay Bar Over spray, heavy oxidation, acid bird droppings and scratches have to be removed mechanically. This product contains a mild abrasive and is designed to expose new paint by removing the contaminated top layer of paint. How to use Swissvax Paint Rubber 1. Spray Swissvax Quick Finish onto the surface and wipe the Paint Rubber back and forth over the surface. (up and down or front to back, not in circular motions) 2. Make sure any irregularities such as paint overspray or oxidants have been completely removed. If not, repeat the procedure until the surface feels absolutely smooth. Use fingertips to feel the paint surface for a rough or gritty texture. 3. The Swissvax Paint Rubber becomes darker over time as it removes dirt. To restore a clean putty surface, knead it until the dirt is folded into the interior. Your Swissvax Paint Rubber can be reused until it is completely loaded with dirt particles. 4. Once the paintwork has been cleaned using the Paint Rubber, prepare the paintwork with your proper polishes. 5. After using the Paint Rubber, place it in warm water and fold in the soiled portions to expose a clean surface.
